Tue Aug 1 – Full Moon Striped Bass

Capt Carl reports a slower night on the Full Moon Trip. We had pretty good action in the beginning of the trip with Bluefish, Giant Porgies, and some Sea Bass, but the Stripers eluded us tonight. The slight northerly breeze didn’t help. Either way, at least we had some fun in the beginning of the trip. We are definitely sailing Wednesday night again and most likely we will be taking a ride over to Block Island to hunt around. There are still spots available! Jimmy Mistler from Patchogue, NY with a 9 lb Bluefish was the pool winner.
