Wed Aug 2 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt J.R. reports an excellent trip this morning onboard the Viking Star. Right away in the morning we found some beautiful KEEPER fluke, knot head sea bass, and some jumbo porgies. The fluke bite is definitely hot! The action continued for the duration of the trip with the fluke catch being well above average and buckets of sea bass and porgies. Big fish dinner for all! The first place pool winner went to Susan Strassler from Downingtown, PA with a 6.5 lb Fluke. The second place pool winner went to Keith Hollender from Ridgewood, NJ with a 5 lb Fluke.
