Wed Aug 16 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt J.R. reports a good afternoon of fishing on the Viking Star. This afternoon we found similar conditions as this morning’s trip with some east wind and slightly sloppy conditions. However, the bite continues to improve with more action and some definite better quality. We found some big porgies, sea bass, and a much improved fluke bite with KEEPERS to 7.6 lbs. The first place pool winner went to Ian Carroll from Washington, DC with a 7.6 lb. Fluke. The second place pool winner went Pat Manfredos from Bayshore, NY with a 3.3 lb.
