Thurs Aug 17 – New Moon Striped Bass

Captain Carl reports similar results as the night before on our New Moon Night trip, as we caught numerous Sea Monster Behemoth Striped Bass! Every drift saw multiple hook-ups with some drifts seeing as high as 10 on at a time! Again, we had a couple over 50, and many many in the 30-40-50 lb range…. All released safely. Again, we only captured a few pictures as it was “controlled mayhem” on deck and we were concentrated on taking care of the anglers, taking pictures with their phones to preserve their memories, and taking care of the Giant Bass to ensure safe release.
We also had some gorilla blues! Matthew Aglietti from Massapequa Park, NY took the pool.
