Sat Aug 19 – Full Day Block Island Fluke & Sea Bass

Capt J.R. Reports a good catch all round on the full-day Block Island Fluke and SeaBass trip on the Viking Starlite. Conditions were a little tough with some stiff breeze, but fish were definitely bending rods all trip. The morning bite saw some quality Fluke being boated along with a very good catch of knot-head SeaBass. The bite continued on that way for most of the trip. It slowed slightly at the change of tide, but the SeaBass bite was very good everywhere we fished. We had a few guys with limits of Fluke and everyone easily boated their limit of big SeaBass. The first place pool winner went to Marco Garcia from Flushing, NY with a 6 lb. Fluke. The second place pool winner went to Mr. Park from Queens, with a 3.6 lb. SeaBass. a man holding a fish in the water a man holding a fish on a boat in the water a man holding a fish in the water a person holding a fish in the water a man holding a fish in the water
