Thur Sept 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a tough day of fishing on the Viking Starship. Overall, the bite was just off today. We went to a lot of the same spots we’ve been fishing everyday and the fish just weren’t biting. Most of the fish were on the smaller side, however we did have some decent size Porgies and a handful of keeper SeaBass. The first prize pool winner was Mr. Lee from New York City with a 2.6 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Daniel Manolas with a 2 3/4lb SeaBass. We are definitely sailing again tomorrow at 5am on our Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Seabass.
