Sun Sept 10 – Full Day Block Island Fluke & Sea Bass

Capt Steven Sr. reports an excellent day of fishing on the Viking Starlite. We had a slow start to the morning, waiting for the tide to start running and once it did we had non-stop action from start to stop with rods bent all around the boat. Everyone on the boat finished up with their full boat limit of SeaBass and many anglers had their limit of Fluke as well. Most of our drifts we were catching between 4-8 Fluke at each drop and had our share of Mackerell as well. We made our way back with an hour and a half ride and by the time we touched the dock Captain Steven Sr. jumped down and cleaned fish for an hour.  The Fluke pool winner today went to Dago Evo from Long Island, NY with a 6 1/2 lb., Fluke. The SeaBass pool winner went to Ignacio Castillo from Woodside, NY with a 4 lb. SeaBass. By popular demand, we have added another Full Day Block Island Fluke and SeaBass trip to the schedule for Wednesday, September 13th departing at 6am. a man holding a fish on a boat in a body of water a person holding a fish on a boat in a body of water a man holding a fish on a boat in a body of water a man holding a fish in the water
