Sun Sept 10 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a slower day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. The bite has still been a bit off, with a lot more smaller fish circulating, however, we still managed a decent pick in some of our local spots. Everyone still managed a decent pile of porgies, between medium and large sized, with no real jumbos on the boat today. Seabass fishing was alright, we had a few really nice ones, but most were on the medium side. We did have a nice Altantic Bonito on the boat day. The pool winner today went to Antonio Sa from Westbury, NY with a 2 lb. Porgy. We are definitely sailing again tomorrow (Monday, September 11th) at 5 am on our Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and SeaBass.
