Sun Sept 17 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a pretty decent day of fishing today on the Viking Starship despite the dirty water following Hurricane Lee. We did most our fishing closer to Block Island today as we found the water was much cleaner in this area. We had a mixed pick of Porgies and SeaBass of all different sizes and a handful or short Fluke. Fishing was slow but steady, with a few really nice fish mixed in. The pool winner for today went to Jose Portillo from Brentwood, NY with a 4 lb. SeaBass.
