Wed Oct 25 – Night Squid Jigging

Capt Carl reports a good night of squid fishing for some squid-a-holics , and a tougher night for others. Once again, they started biting as soon as we anchored up and we picked away for the first half of the night with some good flurries of large tubes. The later part of the night, however, slowed down to a slow pick. We still read them good on the fish finder and saw them swimming all around the boat, but for whatever reason, they slowed down to bite. Some folks had plenty for a couple of dinners AND bags to put in the freezer, while some folks had enough for a couple of dinners. We will be back at it again tonight at 6:30PM, and Friday night as well. Saturday night is SOLD OUT. We do still have room Sunday night. See you then!
