Wed Nov 15 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. Calm and beautiful conditions today brought for very good fishing, we started our morning in our SeaBass and they weren’t as thick as they’ve been, but still a decent pick of quality fish. We later worked our way east and had some excellent drifts out there with combo picks of large SeaBass and Porgies with about a half a dozen keeper Cod. The pool winner today went to Danny Ko from Queens with a 2.9 lb Porgy. We are sailing tomorrow at 5am for Block Island Porgies and SeaBass, the ticket office will be open at 4am.
