Sun Nov 19 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports another good day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. We started our morning tucked in close to the island to get out of the wind and had ourselves a decent shot of medium and large porgies with a few SeaBass mixed in. As conditions cleared we went out in the deeper water south of the island and got into some more SeaBass and quite a bit of Cod, with some nice size to them. The first prize pool winner went to William Tomlinson from the Bron with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner went to George Devon from New Windson with a 10 lb Cod.
