Sat Dec 9 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Star. Porgies bit well and they were mostly medium to large size with pretty much everyone retaining their limit. The Sea Bass weren’t chewing like yesterday, so it was tougher. Everyone managed a few though. There were also about a 1/2 dozen Cod. The first place pool winner was Rogelio Cua with a 2 lb Porgy. Edible pool winner was Hou Chan Li with an 8 lb Cod. All fishing is cancelled tomorrow due to the windy conditions expected.
