Thur Dec 14 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a very good day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. Despite some cold weather today and a few days of being blown in from weather, the fish were still there! We had a slow and steady pick most of the day with. regular mixed bag pick of large fish. We had large and jumbo Porgies as well as some really large SeaBass, with most anglers getting their SeaBass limit. We also had about 8-10 keeper Cod on the boat as well as plenty of Ling and some big Bergalls biting. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a pool on the boat today but the high-hook Scup was around 3 lbs. We are definitely going to be sailing again tomorrow (Friday, December 15th) at 5am on the Viking Starship, come on out while we have this short weather window! a couple of people that are standing in the snow a person holding a fish a person holding a kite in a boat on the water
