Capt JR reports another excellent trip onboard the Viking Star. Loads of Cod and very nice Pollock kept us extremely busy with rods bent all around the boat. We ended the trip with an easy boat limit of Cod and a great catch of Pollock. As in the past, the running around gaffing fish, cleaning fish, and icing the catch kept us from getting many pictures. We ask anyone that was on the trip that would like to share some pictures to please send them to [email protected]. The first place Cod Pool winner was Kevin McCann from Staten Island, NY with an 18 pounder. We had thress second place Cod Pool winners with 14 lb fish. Rory Gregson from Newtown, CT, Greg Morgan from New Milford, CT and Bob Henry from Valley Stream, NY. The edible pool winner was Louis Miller from Fort Edward, NY with a 21 lb Pollock.
