Sat June 8 – Sunset Jigging for Striped Bass & Blues
Capt Dave G reports a very good night of fishing aboard the Saturday evening Sunset Jigging Trip. On the way to the lighthouse we ran across some birds and stopped the boat and threw out the jigs. We had immediate action with cocktail blues, and put quite a few in the boat. Then we headed for the lighthouse. Once the tide started, we jigged up a mix of Stripers and Blues. There was plenty of action during the entire trip. All in all, it was a great evening on the water. The pool winner was Briand Jones with an 18 lb Striped Bass. We will we running our Full Moon Striped Bass special next week Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, fishing on LIVE EELS.
