Wed May 21 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave is happy to report fishing was very good for our first day out of Montauk on the Viking Starlite. Pretty much all BIG Porgies. A few 3 pounders, but most were about 2 pounds. It was a lite bite probably due to the weather, but a slow steady pick. We didn’t have anything else other than a few dogfish. There was no pool with the light crowd. The trip for tomorrow is cancelled due to the very windy weather expected.
