Sat May 24 – Sunset Jigging for Striped Bass & Blues

Capt JR reports an excellent evening of jigging onboard the Viking Star. The perfect tidal conditions provided a true Striped Bass bonanza! From the first drift to the last we had Striped Bass of all sizes bending rods all around the boat. Many oversized fish, undersized fish, and plenty of slot sized fish kept us extremely busy. Right at sundown we got our limit and motored home with happy people and bags of meat. Sunday night will provide an additional hour of prime tide conditions, so book now! The pool winner was Bodhir Drill from Noyac, NY with a 15 lb Striped Bass.
