Wed June 4 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports the best day we have had in awhile on the Viking Starlite. We had a good start and they bit really well for the first two hours of the trip. We had mixed size Porgies from small to extra large. We tried out a deep water drop today. It was slow and steady. If we didn’t have to deal with the dogfish it would have been really good there. The pool winner was James Hom from NYC with a 3 1/4 lb Porgy.
