Sat June 14 – Sunset Jigging for Striped Bass & Blues

Capt JR reports an excellent evening of jigging! The wind and lumpy seas didn’t keep the 104 ft Viking Star at the dock. Our hearty passengers enjoyed an excellent night of catching with loads of action. We had oversized giant Striped Bass, slot sized keeper Striped Bass, and schoolie Striped Bass bending our rods up and down the boat. In addition there were lots of Bluefish, giant Porgies, and even a nice Lobster to round out the catch! A good night to be out! Pool winner to follow. Sailing again tonight at 5:30pm!
