Mon July 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports a very very good day of Porgy fishing today. We had excellent action in the morning with the Porgies and decided to go looking for some Seabass. The Seabass were biting, mostly smalls but everyone ended up with some keepers to take home. The first place pool winner was Lloyd Benjamin from the Bronx, NY, with a 2.8 lb Porgy. The second place pool winner was Gordon Maddox from Huntington Station, NY, with a 3.1 lb Seabass.
