Mon July 28 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports an excellent morning of fishing today. We started out by the lighthouse where we caught some really nice size Porgies. We then ventured over near Block Island where we tried our luck at some Seabass. We got some Seabass the bite wasn’t amazing today, we had a lot of shorts that had to be thrown back. We ended up with a nice amount of fish for everyone and even had some Blue fish and Fluke mixed in. Congratulations to our pool winner was Jerry Benitez from Queens, NY, with a 3.6lb Porgy.
