Mon Aug 3 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports another day of excellent fishing. The Porgy fishing today was very good. We started off getting some mixed size Porgies and decided to moved around a bit. We dropped the anchor and got some Porgies, Seabass, Fluke, and  Bluefish. After a while we headed over to Block Island where we got a good steady pick with some really nice size Seabass coming onto the boat. We also caught some Ocean Bonito and Mackerel. The pool winner was James Shell from Brooklyn, NY, with a 3.2 lb Porgy. Person in black hoodie and cap holding a fish on a boat with ocean in background.
