Wed Sept 3 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We started out the trip like yesterday south of the lighthouse, but with different results. The bite just wasn’t on there, so we moved further south and had a lot of Sea Bass of mixed size, Bluefish and only 1 keeper Triggerfish today. We drilled it out at the lighthouse to finish the trip drifting. We had mostly nice size Porgies and a few Fluke there. The first place pool winner was Laurel Henry from Brooklyn, New York with a 3.1 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Arnold Petties from Queens, NY with a 5 lb Triggerfish.
