Mon Sept 22 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports a good day of fishing today. The fishing and conditions improved today from over the weekend. We spent the morning by Block Island where we had a slow pick of Porgies and a few Seabass. We then decided to go offshore where the Porgies were a much nicer size and the Sebass were a bit smaller. We ended up with a good catch with LOTS of Mackerel and some Bluefish to round out the bite. The pool winner was Ben He from Bayside, Queens with a 3.5 lb Porgy.
