Tue Sept 23 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. We started out up close to Block Island and had really good drifting conditions. There were mostly Porgies there with a handful of Sea Bass. Offshore of Block Island is getting better and better everyday. The Sea Bass size was the best we have been seeing and Porgies are getting into the mix there too. There were also some Triggerfish today. The pool winner was Kevin Forte from White Plains, NY with a 3 lb Porgy.
