Fri Oct 3 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt Dave reports better fishing than expected on the Viking Starship after the weather that came through the past two days. We made a bunch of stops looking around getting in four drops. It was a slow pick everywhere. There were mixed size Porgies and Sea Bass from smalls up to four pounds, along with some Bluefish and throwback Cod. The first place pool winner was Ian Ralph from Bronx, NY with a 2.8 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Barrington Russell from Brooklyn. NY with a 3.2 lb Sea Bass.
