Sat Nov 8 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports very good fishing on the Viking Starship. We started off with Sea Bass and had very nice stuff. It was quality with some big Porgies mixed in. Then we headed to shallow water and had a mixed size Porgies and nice Sea Bass. There were a lot more Porgies today than we have been seeing. We also had Bluefish, Bonita, Mackerel and throw back Cod. The first place pool winner was Victor Alvarado with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Teddy Pagarigan from Baltimore, MD with a 4.4 lb Sea Bass.
