Tue Dec 9 – Block Island Mixed Bag

Capt JR reports a good day onboard the Viking Star. We spent most of the morning bouncing around some deeper drops and found Sea Bass, some Porgies, Ling, and Blackfish everywhere we went. Everyone got a nice catch of quality Sea Bass. A couple of the drops definitely had more Blackfish life than others, and a few guys had a nice limit early in the day. We ended up trying some shallower water before heading home and found a few more Blackfish to add to the catch. Not a bad day! The winner of both pools was Jeffery Su with a 7 lb Blackfish and a 4 lb Sea Bass!!
