Sat May 9 – 1/2 Day AM

Capt JR reports a promising start to the 2026 Fluke season. Things started off very slow this morning on the Viking Star. However, the change of tide definitely helped us out and we caught the first flatties of the year. Things will continue to improve as the water warms. But it was nice to bend some rods and keep a couple for dinner. Pool winner was Peter Morfea from Brewster, NY with a 2.8 lb Fluke.
