Sat June 27 – Full Moon Striped Bass

Captain Carl reports an oddly slow night on our Bass trip. We drifted through thousands of Bass crashing and thrashing on the surface… we read them thick on the bottom too… but just couldn’t get them to bite. We did land some beauties that were WAY too big to keep…. But with all the feeding going on, we would have thought we were going to catch them like crazy. They were THICK all around us. Hopefully tonight’s trip they bite a little better for us. They are certainly HERE! Congratulations to our pool winner, Martin Brian, who caught a 9.3-pound Striped Bass.
