Sun July 12 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Captain JR reports an EXCELLENT morning onboard the Viking Star. We had loads of action with Fluke, Seabass, and Porgies bending rods all trip. There was definitely a huge improvement in the quality of fluke we have been catching with a very nice showing of meaty keepers coming over the rail. Also, the sea bass catching was much better with a few guys easily getting a nice limit. Everyone ended the trip with lots of delicious fish for dinner on the half day family fun fishing boat! The pool winner was Kevin Black from Springs, NY, with a 6 lb Fluke.
