Tues July 14 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports WOW! It was an incredible fishing this morning. We had double headers with all jumbo and large Porgies. We went looking for some Seabass and we got a handful of keepers, but nothing worth the time we spent over there. We also had some keeper Fluke and some decent size Seabass. We decided to head back to the Lighthouse and the fishing was fantastic once more. There were beautiful Porgies  coming over the rails to send us home with a bang! The pool winner today was Gao Xi from Flushing, NY, with a 2.7 lb Porgy. Person holding two fish on a boat with ocean in background. Two people on a boat holding a large fish, smiling.
