Sat July 18 – Montauk Ligthhouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt Dave reports another excellent day of Porgy Fishing. They spent the morning around the lighthouse and as well as catching plenty of Porgies we also had Sea Bass, Bluefish and keeper Fluke. When the tide changed and started running hard we headed down the beach where fishing continued to be great.  The Porgies coming over the rails later in  the day were definitely all Jumbos. Today’s pool was won by Ricardo Munoz of Whiteplains NY with a 2,5lb Porgy.  The wiinner of the edible pool was Keynon Phillip of the Bronx NY who landed a 4lb Fluke.
