Sat Aug 8 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports good conditions first thing this morning. Fishing was very good until the tide started to run making fishing a bit more difficult for us. We caught some but it was a struggle. By the end of the trip we got good action again ending it out with fantastic catch. We had a mix of Porgies, Seabass, and some Bluefish. The first pool winner was Hillary Brethweight from Brooklyn, NY, with a 4 lb Bluefish. The second pool winner was Tommy from Staten Island, with a 3 lb Porgy.
