Wed Aug 12 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Viking Starship. We had a hard flood tide early, but we had a great mixed bag of Porgies, Cocktail Blues and Triggerfish. When the tide eased off we went to the lighthouse and had a catch of Quality Porgies, Keeper Sea Bass, Keeper Fluke and Blues in the 5 to 7 pound range. The pool winner was Dennis Lee from River Village, NY with a 2.9 lb Porgy.
