Sat Aug 15 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Captain JR reports an ok morning on the Viking Star. We battled VERY strong currents again this morning, but found a pick of mostly Fluke, Seabass, and Porgies. It wasn’t as action packed as it has been, but we managed to get fish in everyone’s buckets. There was definitely a strong showing of Fluke with some beauties around the boat. The first pool winner was Julianna Fava with a 5 lb Fluke. The second pool winner was Diane Ross with a 3.8 lb Fluke.
