Wed Aug 19 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports that fishing was a bit off today on the Viking Starship. The fishing at the lighthouse was quiet today, so we tried a spot to the east. We worked on some nice size Porgies. It ended up okay after drilling it out there. The catch was mostly Porgies with a handful of Sea Bass and some Blues. The winner of both pools was Dean Martin from the Bronx with a 2.5 lb Porgy and a 3 lb Sea Bass.
