Fri Aug 28 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports very good fishing on the Viking Starship. Like the past few days we started out down the beach out of the tide and had excellent fishing with all Large & Jumbo Porgies. We tried Sea Bass fishing closer to Block Island and we picked a lot. Everyone ended up with a few keeper Sea Bass. There were also Porgies in the mix, some Cocktail Blues and some Triggerfish. The pool winner was Milton Morris from Elmont, Long Island with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy.
