Sat Aug 29 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We started out drifting by the lighthouse today with wind against tide. It was a nice slow drift of mixed. sized Porgies and Sea Bass. When the tide got going we went down the beach. It was a slow steady pick of BIG Porgies and some Triggerfish.

The first place pool winner was Jason Ayala from Brentwood, NY  with a 3lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Raj Shivraj from Queens, NY  with 4.5lb Triggerfish.
