Sun Aug 30 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports good fishing and good conditions early this  morning at the Lighthouse on the Viking Starship. We had ice sized Sea Bass, Fluke and a few Triggerfish. Te Full Moon tide started running hard, so we went way down the beach to get out of it. It was a slow steady pick of mostly nice sized Porgies and Sea Bass. The first place Pool winner was Juillo Lopez of Leopark NY with a 3.2lb Porgy. The Edible pool winner was Jose Romos of Brentwood NY with a 5lb Triggerfish.
