Tue Sept 1 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a tougher morning on the Viking Starship. We started at the lighthouse and it was not as good as we have been seeing. Porgies were way off the bite. They were mostly mediums with some larger. We worked our way east and found tons of little Sea Bass with a handful of keepers. The first place pool was Vernon Pollard from Brooklyn, NY with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Roderick Odom with a 4 lb Sea Bass.
