Sat Sept 5 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. The trip started off down the beach with a nice pick of good size Porgies. We worked our way back to the lighthouse and had a steady pick of mixed size Porgies with some keeper Sea Bass, about 20 Triggerfish, Fluke and Cocktail Blues in the catch. The first place pool winner was Francisco Gomez from Freeport, NY with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Colon Fernandez from Bronx, NY with a 5 lb Bluefish.
