Sun Oct 18 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports that it took some patience today, but managed to put together a nice mixed bag!

We started near to the island steadily picking away at Porgies before headed offshore midday. Once we got out there, we found

some quality Seabass mixed in with more Porgies to round out the catch. The bite was a little slower than we hoped, but the fish

we landed made the effort worthwhile.

We’ll be out there again tomorrow, ready to chase down an even livelier bite!
