Thurs Oct 29 – Blackfish & Sea Bass

Captain JR reports a very good day onboard the Viking Star. Sea Bass fishing was excellent with everyone easily getting a limit of nice big knot head Sea Bass. Really excellent catching! The Blackfish portion of the trip was good for some, very for others, and a little tough for the newer toggers. Guys who use the spinning rod and blackfish jig combo absolutely crushed it. And guys with blackfishing knowledge ended up with a decent catch. All around a good day! The Blackfish Pool winner was Brian Martin with a 6.2 lb Tog. The Sea Bass Pool winner was Anil Amin with a 5.1 lb BSB.
