Thurs Oct 29 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good trip on the Viking Starship. Drifting by the island was very good to start with the slow tide, we had pretty much all Large Porgies. Once the wind and tide got fast it became difficult. We tried a few spots offshore and found a lot of Sea Bass. Most were throwbacks that were just undersized. Everyone had a few once they picked through them. We also found some Porgies out there. The pool winner was Anand Lochan from Freeport, NY with a 3 lb Porgy.
