Mon Nov 2 – Blackfish & Seabass

Captain JR reports another successful day onboard the Viking Star. Sea Bass fishing was good. We looked around some new areas and found plenty of nice knot heads for the buckets. The blackfish portion of the trip was definitely a huge improvement. Some VERY nice Block Island Bruisers started chewing in our neck of the woods. The big fish today was 12.5 lbs! There were also lots of other studs landed. More than a few had a very nice limit. Again, guys with the spinner/jig setups put on a show. Not a bad day at all!!

Pool winners were Joe Pertilla with a 4.8 lb Sea Bass and Miguel Rodriguez with a 5.2 lb Blackfish.
