Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports yet another very slow night of fishing on the Viking Starship. We caught 1 beauty Striped Bass right away, but then besides some sea bass and scup, we never had any action for the rest of the night. Mike Carroll of Noyack, NY was the lucky pool winner with a 24 lbs Striped Bass.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a very good day today with a nice mix of fish aboard the Viking Starship. The drop we made first thing in the morning was great! We got loads of porgies, sea bass and mackerel. We made a couple more nice drops as the day went on a found some trigger fish, flukes and bluefish. We had all medium to large fish. Today’s pool winner was Leonard Hylton of NJ with a 3lb porgy.

Full Day Montauk Ultra Limited Jumbo Fluke & Knothead SeaBass – Viking Stariper Capt Aaron reports that we picked away at sea bass all morning with a slow drift. The drift picked up at the end of the day and we then had better fluke action. The pool winner was Jim Brennan from Keyport, NJ with an 8.1 lb Fluke.

Montauk Jumbo Summer Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a very good day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship. We started off the morning by going offshore looking for sea bass. We found a good pick of sea bass and small porgies here. Then we went back towards the lighthouse looking for bigger porgies but they were hard to find. We had plenty of nice medium to large sized fish but very few jumbos. The pool winner was Steve Seabrook from Sayville NY with a 2.5lb scup.
