Sunday July 13th

Moo Cow Madness Striped Bass Captain Ant reports yet another  Excellent striper Excursion on our Midnight Moo Cow Madness trip. The trip started well but the wind came on and slowed down the drift, which led to a very delicate pick and then nada for a good  hour. However , when the flood came back, it came back with a vengeance and we finished the trip with a bang. Jose Ruiz from Brooklyn caught 3 (ORL) Jonny Jesus of the elbow had 3 as well (orl) But the pool fish were both whistle fish by father and son Bobby Earl and Bobby Earl Jr, largest at 36lbs.

Saturday July 12th

Full Moon Night Striped Bass Captain Ant reports Excellent bass fishing once again the fish were chewing on the brisk moon tide and they were of the hefty variety. We had a tie for the pool with two 39lbers, one by Michael Collins of Sayville, The other by Martin Wellen Dowd who also had a 36lber both on  our first drift of the night. We had a solid pick all night until the tide died, but we picked almost all moo cows. Montauk Local Porgies Captain Dave reports a tough day fishing due to the full moon tide. We still put a good catch together of good quality fish in the Pm with some fluke in the mix. The pool winner was Mario Felicisimo from the Philippenes with a 3.5lb porgy. Friday July 11th

Block Island Behemoths Captain Ant reports another Basstastic night on the Viking Starship. Moo Cows were grazing all night with or without tide. Not much else to say other than we had our boat limit. Highlights were John Dempsey who finally limited out, with a pair of 30+ lbers, congrats john. Corrado also limited out with fish to 34lbs. Steve Bento came back and had 3(ORL) to 32lbs. Jonny Jesus of the elbow made his first appearance with his bro & buddy chad they combined for 9(ORL) chad with the largest at 35lbs. Mikey Nelson also limited to 31lbs. While most fish were in the moo cow 30lbs class Gary Kolesar had a Behemoth at 41lbs even. Thursday July 10th

Night Bass Jig & Eel Combo Capt. Ant reports an EPIC night of Striper fishing.  I’ve been on the bass boat over ten year between mate and captain and never have I witnessed a feeding frenzy in the shallows of the lighthouse of trophy moo cow linesiders.  From the start it was a steady pick of cows, average size going 30lbs.  We had a lull during the slack but continued to pick a few.  Once the tide started again it was mayhem again with freight train sized stripers screaming drag from bow to stern and stern to bow.  It seemed every group went home with at least one trophy fish. Wednesday July 9th

Half Day Fluke Pm Captain Carl reports a good afternoon half day trip.We had steady action with a good amount of keepers on board as well.The pool winner was Nicholas Saunders from BellMore , NY with a 3.75lb Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports fishing started of a little slow today but picked up with some nice Montauk Jumbo Porgies we also had some keeper fluke in the mix. The pool winner was Carlos Torres Jr From Hempstead, Ny with a 3lb Half Day Fluke AM Captain Anthony D reports a good morning of fishing lots of action. The pool winner was Mrs Christine Haupt.

Tuesday July 8th

Half Day Fluke Pm Capt Anthony reports the afternoon fishing was fair and good despite windy conditions. Fishing picked up at the end of the trip. The pool was won today by Craig Chester from Sayville NY with a 4.5lb fluke. Second was Elizabeth Harrison from Bayside NY with a 3.5lb Fluke. Half Day Fluke Am Captain Anthony D reports a great morning despite the windy conditions we had steady action all morning long. The pool winner was Mr Mike Smith from Floral Park, NY with a 5lb  Second Place went to Mr John Mundjer from Verona NJ with a 4.5lber. Monday July 7th

Half Day Fluke Fishing AM Capt Anthony D reports Great morning despite the windy conditions steady action all morning long. The pool winner was Mr Mike Smith From Floral park, NY with a 5lb Second place Mr John Mundjer from Verona, NJ with a 4.5lb Montauk Local Porgies Captain Dave reports an Excellent day of fishing on the porgy grounds with double header all day long we even had some nice size sea bass in the mix that we released  unharmed. Sunday July 6th

Sunset Striper Slam Capt Ant reports a frustrating night on the bass grounds thanks to mother nature. We knew where they were, we just couldn’t fish there with the 25kt wind and sea conditions once the tide changed. even with that we managed two moo cows, Doug Seay landing the largest at 33lbs. The sunset was still lovely though! Montauk Jumbo Porgies Capt Dave reports another good day on the porgy grounds we had a mix of medium to jumbo size porgies we also had some blues, striped bass and a few keep fluke. The pool winner was  Juan Carlos Moreno  from Queens, NY with a 3lb  porgy and he won the edible pool with a 4.5 Fluke. Saturday July 15th

Moo Cow Midnight Madness Capt Ant reports Midnight Moo Cow Mayhem as we had our limit of large and incharge  Stripers. All but 2 fish were 25+lbs. Its one thing to limit,  another to limit with Trophy’s Paul Cardenas took the pool with a 36lber. Young Ethan Stillwachs was dropped off by mom+dad had 3 keepers (ORL) to 32lbs. Chris Luke limited to 34lbs but dropped on in the 40 class. Night Striped Bass Capt Ant reports the pigs were rolling in the slop!!!  We reached the grounds and found muddy water from yesterday’s storm. It didn’t matter. From the start on jigs to the end in eels we picked away on trophy linesiders. 12 fish over 30 and the largest caught by George Jehn at 42.48lbs. Sam Kelley had a 35.66. Multiple fisherman had their limits. Truly a Moo…

Friday July 4th

Montauk Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports Excellent day of fishing on the porgy grounds we had action all day long we even manage some fluke and two striped bass in the mix. The pool winner was Mr Felix Palencia from Uniondale wit a 3lb   Schedule Update: Friday July 4th The Ferry between Montauk and New London is cancelled. Night striped Bass for tonight Friday July 4th is also cancelled. Saturday July 5th Half Day AM Fluke and Montauk Jumbo Porgies is cancelled.
