New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an Excellent day on the porgies and sea bass grounds we had non stop action coming over the rails we had some nice jumbo porgies and some jumbo sea bass up to 5lbs. The pool winner was Mr Sanchez from Patterson, NJ with a 4lb porgy.  Trips Attention Viking fleet Anglers: This upcoming weekend we have a few changes and additions to our schedule. Cherry Harbor Porgys will be sailing Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 5a-12 noon. Saturdays trip is completely sold out so please make your reservations. Fare is $75 and rod rentals are available on the boat. The Extended full moon trip scheduled for Friday has been pushed to Saturday night based on the weather forecast. New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports that fishing was a little slower today we had some smaller fish today. The pool winner was Martin Matan from Queens, NY with a 3lb Second place went to Bruce Roberts from Rockaway, NY with a 4lb sea bass. Montauk Cherry Harbor Porgies Captain Ants final report is a massacre. Jumbos started chewing after the tide changed and coolers were stuffed with limits of pork chops. The pool winner was Juan Carlos Moreno from Corona, Queens with  3.1 lb Captain Ant reports the best bite yet in the sweet waters of Cherry Harbor! New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Pm Captain Dave reports that the afternoon porgy and sea bass trip was excellent most people had there limit of both porgies and sea bass. The pool winner was Danny Situ from Brooklyn with a 3lb New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another very good day of fishing in New Bedford. We had tons of action in the morning with some really nice sized fish. Today’s first place pool winner was Cesar Morocho of Spring Valley, NY with a nice 3.5 porgy, and in second place was Eugene Thomas of Queens with a nice 5lb sea bass. Fridays June 6

New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing in New Bedford! There was plenty of fish, both sea bass and porgies. We had some really nice sized fish today, with nice sea bass up to 5lbs. Today’s pool winner was Alice Jones with a 3.25lb porgy. New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Pm Captain Dave reports that the afternoon trip started off picky but as the day went on fishing got better. The pool winner was Mr John Ford from Lakewood, NJ with a 3lb Half Day Fluke PM Capt Ant reports despite the stiff east wind and rolly conditions, we had an excellent afternoon of fluke fishing! First place winner was Kevin Timony of Farmingville with a 4.7lb fluke. Freddy “Motor” Shea was high hook with 4 nice keepers, followed by Briggs Housten with 3 keepers and Angelo Demetroulakos with 2 keepers! Half Day Fluke PM Capt Ant reports an okay afternoon of fluke fishing today. We had some tougher conditions with some sea weed in the way, but we still managed to get some meat on the boat. Today’s pool winner was Jose Ruiz of Brooklyn with a nice 7.5lb fluke. New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Capt Dave reports another good day on the porgy ground in New Bedford. There was lots of action today and most people did have their limit with both the porgies and sea bass! We also had some really nice blackfish in the mix. New Bedford Porgies and Sea Bass Capt Dave reports a pretty good day of fishing up in New Bedford today. We had mostly really nice size and quality porgies, with some smaller sea bass in the mix. Today’s pool winner was Dennis Phillips of Upper Marlboro, MD with a BIG BIG 3.75lb porgy!   Montauk Porgies Captain Ant reports our local porgy trip is on fire. Only 30 minutes in and buckets are filling with the largest kind of super scup. We are sailing tomorrow at 5a sharp!!!
